Erjavec
Dr. Karmen Erjavec is an Assistant Professor in the Communications Department,
Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, where she teaches
Mass Communication and Media Education. Her main research interests are
the media and minorities; media consumption and the quality of journalism,
topics on which she has published a number of articles and books (Youth
and the Media (1998), a book on the media for Slovenian audiences, with
Zala Volčič; The Journalistic Quality (1999); We about the Roma, (2000)
with Sandra Bašić-Hrvatin and Barbara Kelbl; Media Education (2000), Media
representation of the discrimination against the Roma in Eastern Europe
in Discourse & Society 2001.
