Radical beauty - constructing discourse on new negritude.

Headline in English:
Radical beauty as a social representation of new negritude or removing the white masks

Description of Idea
Video clip from the movie RIZE is a cultural text which can be read in different ways, from different points of view. In this essay with theoretical background I will reflect radical beauty shown in this video as a social representation of new negritude by reconstructing black cultural identity and building up new discourse based on race. I will focus on the dilemma whether this social representation has the sufficient power to free itself from the dominant white American discourse placing black people at a specific place in social hierarchy and finding themselves being placed at those positions.
