PROCEDURE FOR SUBMITTING YOUR
WORK(S)
When you finally decide to submit your work(s), your first step
is the creation of your memefest account (easy as 1,2,3!). All
entrants need to
have a memefest account to participate.
The second step is to log into the greatly-improved "submit your
work" page.
Repeat the function for each work you intend to
submit.
Submission deadline is : May 20th 2008
THE TWO EASY STEPS OF SUBMITTING YOUR WORK
1. Create your
memeaccount
If you already have memeaccount it is not neccessary to create
a new one, just log-in in the bottom of the right menu "memeaccount login" using
your
memeaccount data. If you're already logged-in, go to step two.
2. Submit
your work
ACCEPTED FORMATS
Finally, here are the formats we accept depending on a field.
We kindly ask you to obey them carefully.
1. Communication studies
You can send your work over web form or snail mail us a
CD or DVD containing it.
Your text should be written either in Word
(.doc) or Acrobat Reader (.pdf).
2. Sociology
You can send your work over web form or snail mail us a CD or DVD containing
it. Your text should be written either in Word (.doc) or Acrobat Reader (.pdf).

Visual Arts
You can send your work over web form or snail mail a
CD-ROM or DVD containing it. All files for Visual Arts category sent
over the web should be archived or compressed. The accepted
formats are .zip, .rar or .sit. If you've decided to send you work
to us
using snailmail, you can burn your work or works on either a CD-ROM
or DVD.
A) Static - nonmoving:
Your only limit is possiblity of
- for web : JPEG file; max. 800x600 pixels; with
72 dpi resolution (RGB);
B) Moving visual arts - TV commercial, film,
animation, video:
Maximum lenght is 60 seconds and maximum
size 10 MB.
The accepted formats are:
- Quicktime (.qt)
- AVI - please use Divx ;) or INEO codecs (.avi)
- MPEG (.mpg, .mpeg)
- Realplayer (.rm)
- Animated GIF (.gif)
- Flash (.swf, .flv)
- Ogg (.ogg)
C) Websites and interactive:
Send an active link by web form. Beside HTML you can use any type
of web technology, that is supported
by the vast majority of browsers (Internet Explorer, Netscape...)
such as Flash, Javascript, Java applets etc.
