Description of campaign/project
I'm thinking about the relationship between what we are told about the effects of science on our lives and the actual results of scientific practice as it is associated with products, services, and life-stuff in general.
My work presents imagery and ideas that are based in scientific practice in more aesthetic terms. Basically I am asking the viewer to look more deeply and to question ... everything about how science is a part of how life is lived.
I offer both information and informed visualizations about how science is a part, and not always a beneficial part, of our loves in the 21st century.
Much more about the effects of the chemical compound "hexane" on different populations world-wide. I am astounded about how much I did not know and that was seemingly hidden away by chemical manufacturers and distributors.
