Description of idea

Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

The study of women's roles in society where we are, has led to visual solutions that are directly involved in women. This kind of subjective analysis is of course one angle and only one response to the issue of social context. Consideration of post-socialist and patriarchal especially based in the Balkans, we see women's role, which is characterized by society as someone who needs to preserve the honor of sex. In a recently read text by Bojana Pejic, she said ‘’post-communist man earns money, but the woman makes the house clean and products baby. "In a society that for decades is in this kind of organization, problems of which I speak are not actually recognizable. It is deeply grounded in the basics of the system and consumed as part of normal social practice. Finding mentioned references made me to use the women as such in the artistic expression. Aesthetics expression did not have a tendency to leave the aesthetic woman, her subtlety and sensuality. Using the photos as basically expressive media, I put the focus on gender. With the exception of other descriptive elements of the used models, I am trying to set a universal female symbol. Using the transparency movement I am getting the movement of the woman and hands on her body, but really focus is on her essential predestination. In order of the same, is appearing the described circular form of the uterus, which is also the symbol of women's experiences of the body. Circular symbolic form is derived in the form of traditional women's crafts in the form of embroidery, but the term is used in modern practice. Used embroidery has a tendency to explain the patriarchal traditionalism at these areas. In addition to symbolic use of pregnant women, there is an use and display of women before the second condition. Her corporeality is lost, transparency is used in the service of the descriptions. In this case, the female reproductive organ is described in a form of embroidery. Used photographs were presented in a life-size models with them, as illuminated buildings, apropos , light commercials, aimed at public and massive consumption, as well as a clear reaction to the problems of social order.

What kind of communication approach do you use?

I prefer to use visual means of communication, within public advertising, television, all means of communication that can withdraw from the personal art in public.

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

Communication that gives me art is very committed to the response to certain problems in society, the attitude towards women, the relationship of love and women, and freedom that are allowed to love in a society where I am.Freedom for woman to focus on love , children, the committed nature of its role, is very political characterized . Art allows me to feel free to respond to such problems, and communication gives me thinks to deal with world .

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

It is hard to tell that person can get a clear understanding of the problems with you work . But clearly that I am committed to the problems of women, to her relationship with yourself, the freedom of its opinion .And of course I realized how hard is to be woman in a conceptual context, which is still enslaved by patriarchal definition of woman.

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

My work is good communication work for reasons which leads the viewer to their own analysis. You have to wonder where it all begins, does the focus on the womb, does love already conceived, does love even before the birth, whether the mother feels her child, as it characterizes the society, do not be a mother alone in the patriarchal environment, whether its actions were justified then, although she feels the love in yourself ...And many more questions ... but you beside them feel arms that provides a circle of the uterus, you will feel the warmth she feels for child. We come back to those basic feelings, all with the help of modern means of communication that we normally constant surround, which we are daily drinkers, and that took us away from nature, the feelings of belonging, of closeness, of love.

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

My works have been exhibited in exhibitions, but their key role was to appear in larger sizes in the public space, so they can be consumed in public. In the form of large billboards, neon signs, posters, beams .... I chose the location for the area in which the rights of women are still problematic, patriarchal environment, and places where there is abuse and social problematic with female population.

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)

These images address very complex gender issues in a subtle and moving way. They relate well to the festival guidelines, grounding love and conflict in the most fundamental site of the body, and more specifically the womb.

I really like how these images can be read in multiple ways; empowering, melancholic, alienated, intimate, confrontational, depending on the viewer's individual context and also the context of their presentation. The aesthetic choices you've taken (transparency, movement, cropping/focus on the body, hand drawn lines) create a strong tension that is both very personal while clearly addressing a public, questioning them.

I would have very much liked to see these works presented in the public spaces you mention, and could see it working very well in a large format backlit billboard. I would also be very curious to hear what reactions they have drawn from audiences at the exhibition.
