Description of idea
Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the
festival outlines:
My concept in this project is to show debt. I want to show an illustration of a needle because a needle can refers to drugs which is something very addictive. Therefore, I want to show that debt is becoming like a drug these days. Once a person borrows money, it sometimes become a habit and people start borrowing more money until one day they may end up in a big trouble because they can not return the money back to their owners. My point is to try to convince the people to stop making it as a habit because debt can put them in really bad situations. Many people do not realize those problems happen because of the continuous borrowing of money , and it could be a bigger issue for the uneducated people.
The word “Kick the habit” is usually a word used when people see a person addicted to something. For instance, They say it when they see a person addicted to smoking. Likewise, I am trying to show that being in debt is like an addiction. Thus, I feel using this word which is commonly used among the people would be very powerful to catch ones attention.
