Description of idea

Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

My idea is for a billboard entitled Boardzero, that effectively sums up how I feel about the current debt crisis. The board consists of a row of zeros arranged in the format of 7 digit number. The zeros have double meanings. ie they represent zero value, but allow the viewer to see through them as a changing parallax.

What kind of communication approach do you use?

Communication is direct and public installation.

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

It promotes a questioning of value through the duality of the meaning. ie bored means disinterested, but also board as in billboard.

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

I learned not to be bored.

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

It's good because it works on more than one level

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

I intend on creating my billboard in a prominent public place.

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)

Not installed yet, but facebook users who saw it appreciated the work.
