Description of idea

Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

There is no intimacy if intimacy is a position outside of sight. There is no place or time outside performing, endlessly. Radical intimacy? It is in my opinion better to stand in the position of radical in-intimacy. Ride the curb deeper until it breaks. Until subjetification and subject part and we are faced with a void.

What kind of communication approach do you use?

I made a video that should be viewed in a loop, with no beginning or end. I use excessive, overloaded imagery and montage of stereotypical scenes from movies, trailers, internet and music videos. I do this so that that which was a subject is now only a labyrinth of high paced imagery.

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

As such there are none. The following may seem as a joke, but i believe that if my work were widely seen and understood, there would be no society as we know it today. There would be no conflict in the Middle East. I believe that art is emancipatory. Radically so.

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

I have learned that we consume images in a increasing rate and that this now faster tempo produces new effects of alienation and subjectivity.

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

Because it does not in any instance take a position of power in relation to the spectator. Not in a way that would withhold information from the spectator or give him a object for identification. If the spectator will enter the process of communication with an open sensitivity the work will not allow the spectator a position that would grant him/her an assurance or possession of what is experienced.

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

I intend to exhibit in galleries and festivals as well as have it accessible on the internet.

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)

No, it is a new work and i have not shown it to anyone yet.
