Description of idea
Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the
festival outlines:
Humanity is going for a long and painful process in which the economic status of everyone is at risk, and many people can’t waste too much money, big industries can “help” in a way making food cheaper for everyone, but this help has a price and it puts our live in a long term risk.
But it isn’t relevant for the normal living average Joe, because an apple is an apple, a carrot is a carrot or a chicken would still be a chicken in every country people don’t really see what’s beneath that thin crust or skin in your vegetables, food or meat; The real problem is invisible, as a poison or a virus it can start affecting you from inside but food can’t be blamed, food is something that gives us pleasure, food can’t be blamed but we don’t really know our food.
What kind of communication approach do you use?
I tried to go for a modern propaganda style poster, very simple in which I show the duality of an apple, its only one poster and its inspired in Russian constructivism propaganda.
What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of
your communication?
People don't believe in organic food, they think its a luxury or something innecesary, but they don't know they are poisoning themselves
What did you personally learn from creating your submitted
work?
About the subject I knew very little, I only saw the term organic food in a very preppy way, in fact always in a fitness way kind of hippie and in movies, they always mark this alternate way like something unnecessary
Why is your work, GOOD communication
WORK?
Because im trying to generate a certain impact like in an old school propaganda or a new commercial, pretty direct
Where and how do you intent do implement your
work?
As a poster, pretty much everywhere, in a physical way. Websites right now like the ones which post memes everytime tend to be moralist in some ways, I would also like to make a digital poster
Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe
the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change
other media with your work-
how?)
