52 weeks - what´s next?
1/15

For a project of 12 artists (from architecture, painting, sculpting, illustration, photography, design, graphics etc.) everyone of us had to contribute with four works for one month of the year. So in the end a calendar was created. My part was June and I thought about timers and stuff. We all have there our notes, memories, meetings etc. - so why not give the user an own cover story every week. Therfor all motives are looking like a magazine cover and ask in different ways "what´s next?"

After the project was done, I continued to illustrate other months and here you can see the result so far.

I love calendars, allows for so much creativity... and can be so personal.
Your work is great! I love the style.
Did the others work in the same way or each had their own style?

Your illustrations seem inspired by existing photographs am I correct?

You made me want to create my own calendar! :D

Great work

How does project benefit the client (if there is a client)?
user can write his personal memories, notes and meetings on the right side into the week and on the left there is their own cover to illustrate their week.

How does project benefit the people you are speaking to with your communication?
see above

How does project benefit the wider society?
something nice to look at..nothing more

How did/does this project benefit author (authors/makers of the project)?
Got a good idea for a new illustration series...learned to create a concept.

Tell us something about your view on communication. What is your / your organisation's / initiative's (visual) communication philosophy?
The women are looking mostly frontally to the user and asking them in a shy or exiting way, what´s next?....what will happen for you the next? what might I do next? etc. So the user can be involved and sees every week a new kind of way how to ask "what´s next?

What about the process of creating this work? Please describe it.
around one year now working on finalising all 52 weeks...

Anything else you would like to say about this work?
