Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

My work is showcasing how dialogue is only intimate and meaningful when it has some type of consequence in our life. My poster is an outline of the different types of dialogue surrounding drag. Drag has the ability to call upon every opinion possible without actually talking about the issue at hand-transexuality. It fosters this community of negative and positive feedback that is so passionate and real that it forces you to think about dialogue in a more intimate manner.

What kind of communication approach do you use?

I am using a graphic design approach to attempt to showcase the different dialogue and quotes I read during my research on this topic. I also present an analysis of my findings in an effort to let the viewer truly see a dialogue come to life.

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

I hope that this communication fosters a community of more open minded and aware people. I think I am presenting information in a way that will help people sort through their own biases.

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

I learned that conversations surrounding hot topics such as drag, transsexuality and the gay culture will always be filled with negativity and positivity, however, this communication and these comments affect somebodies livelihood, not just their opinions.

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

I think my work helps to inform but also allows the viewer to make up their own mind about the information without presenting too much of a bias. That in my mind is good communication.

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

I plan to present it to my colleagues in a effort to open the minds and opinions about drag and transsexuality, hopefully, fostering a more accepting community.

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)

No, my intervention has not been affected by other media, only by other people.
