Description of idea

Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

Debt doesn't discriminate. It affects everyone, everywhere no matter what the age, race, gender of marital status. Each different group of people contribute to the global debt. People mistakingly associate debt with less affluent people so this series of posters is designed to create awareness. Their aim is to invoke thought and challenge the false perception that debt only affects less affluent people. It affects everyone.

What kind of communication approach do you use?

Mass Media- gorilla-eswque techniques.. Because it affects everyone it needs to be available to every type of person of every age.

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

Society should be enlightened on the fact that debt doesn't discriminate and it affects everyone. These posters should create awareness and educate the public or invoke thought.

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

Throughout the process my opinion had change. By doing this design i personally experienced a change in my beliefs. I had the misconception that debt only affected less affluent people and throughout my research process my opinion was altered.

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

Because it encourages change and awareness.

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

These posters will implemented throughout society. Using a graffiti-esque approach. A website would also be developed to encompass these posters as well as a greater understanding of debt.

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)

no
