Description of idea

Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

In today’s world the worries of debt are a constant treat to survival. Greed and desire have lead to a selfish society. Through the use of a Cree Proverb which goes “Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat money” I hope to draw attention to the fact that greed causes debt and that money is not everything in life. Through the use typography I hope to create an interesting and powerful piece that will make people stop and think in this greedy and selfish world we live in.

What kind of communication approach do you use?

The kind of communication i have chosen is an A3 poster that can be placed anywhere and hopefully capture attention.

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

Hopefully the benefits to society will be that people will become aware of debt and greed in our world.

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

That greed and debt are bad for the health of our society and environment.

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

I feel that it captures attention and hopefully people will stop to read it and think more about the message I am trying to convey.

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

A series of these posters would be placed in various location etc.

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)
