Description of idea

Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

Reportedly every baby has a debt to pay because of the loans of their country. I think it shows well enough the dictatorship of the debt that is so fundamental in our society.

What kind of communication approach do you use?

I use the ironic, sarcastic pictogram illustration that shows quickly, clearly and directly the point of my criticism.

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

Maybe people will realize in how surreal situation capitalism is pushing us.

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

I learned that the system is based on a promise, not only because of the debts countries give and get, but of the money concept in general - a promise for something that is only imagined and can not be fulfilled in order to keep the system that governs us.

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

My work functions well because of the direct reading of the elements used in it, which are recognizable and with which we are familiar. Nevertheless the dialectic of the familiar elements creates a shocking and uncanny situation which strikes us and give us think.

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

My basic idea was that it might be used as a poster, flyer or simply an illustration but it has all elements with which we could use it as a demotivator or a clip-art. That could help the work to disseminate faster and warn as much people as possible.

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)

It was not shown in public yet.
