Don't let the fuckers get you down

I had been working on a solidarity poster/design for the protests in ferguson, addressing the right to resistance. I wanted to challenge the dominant narrative of the reasoning behind riots, and the idea of violent outside instigators, etc. The idea was there right away, however, by the time I got down to actually sitting down and designing, the timing seemed a bit off.

But not wanting to wast…

Contacts : the little mean sexy book that gives you what Facebook friends never can

First I thought it was Luther Blisset, than I was sure it was Banksy, ...but it wasn't him. Who was it? Like Justin Bieber It is mean, little and sexy- the new book 'Contacts'.

In the words of the secret author: "85 times 45 millimeters of power. Business cards are status objects that serve the identification with a particular corporation and that frequently portray hierarchies too. A long tim…

It is a association of students/practitioners/thinkers etc in the local Brisbane area creating and then building on open-source ideas. Looking for anyone who is interested in helping develop the idea: especially QCA students and ex-students.

"Four years ago,

when we created this online platform with our social network, it was designed as an alternative to Facebook.

No data mining, no commercial advertising, no fake likes, no fake profiles, no surveillance. It is still fascinating for me how many of the peop…

Urgent Invitation

This is an invitation to contribute to an exhibition about Open Source design - "Burst Open" at Artisan Gallery in Brisbane Australia.(http://artisan.org.au/about-artisan/)

Quality design is considered as expensive and elitist; the world of the modern day designer typically exists in a bubble of isolation. Burst Open is an exhibition that takes these problems and turns them into an optimistic …

Memefest 2014, festival outlines: INTIMIDAD RADICAL: EL DIÁLOGO EN NUESTRO TIEMPO
